How to request records of the Municipality of Cainta that are not already published.
Requesting municipal records
Records that are not already published in this Transparency Portal may be requested from the Municipality of Cainta. Requests are handled under the Freedom of Information policy applicable to the local government unit.
How to file a request
- Check the Transparency Portal first — the record may already be published.
- Complete the Freedom of Information request form.
- Submit it to the Office of the Municipal Mayor with a valid identification document.
- Wait for the acknowledgement, which states the expected response period.
What may be withheld
Some records are exempt from disclosure — for example, personal information protected under the Data Privacy Act and records covered by recognised exceptions. When a request is denied, the ground for denial is stated in writing.
