Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the questions residents ask most often.
General
Municipal offices are open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Individual offices may keep different hours — check the office page in the Government Directory before visiting.
Offices are closed on declared national and local holidays. Announcements about suspended work are posted under Advisories.
Online Services
The Cainta E-Portal is the separate, secure system where residents and businesses sign in to file applications, upload requirements and track the status of their transactions. This website links to it; it does not store your account or your application data.
Yes. Online applications are filed through the E-Portal, which requires a verified account. Browsing service information on this website does not require an account.
Business Permit
Renewal periods and deadlines are set by ordinance and announced each year under Important Dates. Official renewal schedules will be published here once confirmed by the Business Permits and Licensing Office.
Filing and document submission are done through the E-Portal. Some steps — such as inspection or claiming the released permit — may still require a visit. The service page lists which steps are onsite.
Health
Validity is set by the Municipal Health Office and will be published on the Health Card service page once confirmed.
Barangay
Apply to the barangay where you currently reside, or where the business is located. The Barangays page lists all seven barangays of Cainta with their contact details.
Education
Eligibility criteria are set by the Municipality and published on the Scholarship Program page when the application period opens.
Other Services
Use the Feedback and Contact form. For emergencies, do not use the form — call the emergency hotlines listed on this website.
