Geography
Cainta lies on the western edge of Rizal, bordering Metro Manila.
The municipality sits on generally low, flat terrain crossed by waterways that drain toward the Manila Bay and Laguna de Bay systems. Portions of the municipality are flood-prone during the rainy season, and flood advisories are issued through the MDRRMO.
