Privacy Policy
How the Municipality of Cainta handles personal information collected through this website.
What we collect
This website collects personal information only when you choose to give it — for example, when you send a message through the feedback form. That form asks for your name, email address, an optional contact number, a concern category, your message and an optional attachment.
Why we collect it
Information from the feedback form is used to respond to your message and to route it to the office concerned. It is not used for any other purpose and is never published on this website.
What we do not collect
This website does not host E-Portal accounts and does not store login credentials or application data. Online applications are filed in the separate Cainta E-Portal, which has its own privacy notice. The application tracker on this website displays application progress only — never your personal details.
Cookies
A single session cookie keeps your form submission secure while you are filling it in. It contains no personal information and expires when you close your browser. This website does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Retention
Messages sent through the feedback form are kept for as long as needed to act on them and to keep a record of the response, then disposed of in line with government records retention rules.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you may ask what personal information about you is held, ask for corrections, and object to processing in certain circumstances. Send such requests through the contact details on this website.
Contact
For questions about this policy or about how your information is handled, contact the Municipality of Cainta using the details in the footer of this website.
